Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series… On the Road

In celebration of Iceland's centennial, Vígþór Zophoníasson and Rhonda Kline highlight a number of Iceland's most prominent and beloved composers, as well as songs that were once considered for Iceland’s national anthem. Zophoníasson has been praised for his “flawless upper register” and “remarkable comic timing and clever charm”; composers featured in the program include Sigvaldi S. Kaldalóns, Eyþór Stefánsson, Sigfús Halldórsson, and others who are rarely performed outside Iceland.
