Darcy Hamlin, 3rd Horn of the Milwaukee Symphony, presentsĀ a free master class! Whether you'd like to play for Darcy and get her perspective on your playing or listen as she discusses performance with other players, Darcy never fails to deliver the fun and enjoyment of playing music along with her unique insights. Open to all players, but priority will be given to horn players.

Darcy Hamlin has held the 3rd Horn position with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra since 2003. Ms. Hamlin was Principal Horn with both the Akron and Canton Symphonies in Ohio, as well as Associate Principal Horn with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. She served as Principal Horn for three summers with the Breckenridge Music Festival, has toured Asia with the Cincinnati Pops, and toured Europe with the Cleveland Orchestra. She has been featured as a concerto soloist and Acting Associate Principal horn with the Milwaukee Symphony. A passionate educator, Ms. Hamlin serves on the faculty of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. She lives in Glendale with her husband, freelance writer and editor David Lewellen, and their two children, Benjamin and Sophie.
