NW Folklife: Kiérah

Kiérah performs fiddle music at Northwest Folklife.

Kiérah is one of Canada’s finest and most versatile Celtic fiddle performers. With 13 years of classical training, Kiérah received one of the highest marks ever given by the Royal Conservatory of Music on her A.R.C.T exam. However, with an Irish/Scottish heritage, Kiérah’s true passion is performing Celtic fiddle music. Her high energy performance style, her musicality and outstanding technical ability give her solo performances a fullness all their own. Kiérah has just released her fourth album, "Strong Bow", which she will showcase at the 2018 Northwest Folklife Festival.
