Songs of travel, love, and the supernatural will take you on a journey from America, back to the Old World, and deep into the folklore and myth of Scandinavia.
Soprano Laura Loge joins pianist/composer Steven Luksan to present new songs with texts in English and Norwegian by poets Carl Sandburg and Sigbjørn Obstfelder. They will also explore music that dives into the land of dwarves, elves, and fairies as the duo presents Grieg's monumental song-cycle Haugtussa and music by other Norwegian composers.
