Francesco Barone, classical guitar

Award-winning guitarist Francesco Barone has performed throughout the Northeast United States and in Italy as a soloist and chamber musician. He has been presented at guitar festivals and societies in New England. Francesco was also featured on a La Bella Strings sponsored concert, was a prize-winner in the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society Guitar Competition, and has been featured on NPR. He is a current DMA candidate at The Hartt School, University of Hartford where he studies under Richard Provost.

A Note from the Host
Ample street parking is available. Metro #5 or #44. Our house is high off the street and it's 30 steps to the front door. Attendees will be asked to make a donation (minimum $10) all of which goes to the musicians. Please bring any drinks and snacks you'd like to share. Note: Please do not arrive early unless you have a special need and have communicated with me. Both hosts and musicians require preparation and set up time. The start time (7:30pm) means that is the time you should arrive, and you can expect the program will start slightly later. A groupmuse is a live classical music house party/concert. It’s casual, friendly, and intimate. Equal parts musical and social, it’s a way to enjoy yourself and enrich yourself. Anyone can host one, and anyone can come.

50 spots total, $10+ minimum payment to musicians, $3 reservation fee, bring your own drinks, wheelchair not accessible, kid-friendly event, RSVP for exact location.
