Zeze Xue, piano

Pianist Zeze Xue presents a piano recital featuring works by Robert Schumann, Isaac Albéniz, and Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Zeze Xue was born in Changsha, China where he started his piano lessons at age three and performed his first recital at age five. At age 15, he performed as soloist with the Hunan Symphony Orchestra and was admitted to the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna.

He continued his studies in the United States at the University of Washington as a student of Craig Sheppard. Prior to graduation, he performed Rachmaninoff's second concerto as the winner of the school's 2016 Concerto Competition, followed by a recital tour among China's principle cities.

From 2017 on, he entered the Master of Music degree program at Manhattan School of Music as a student of Solomon Mikowsky, graduating in May 2019. Other performing experience includes concerts and recitals in various cities in Europe and the United States.
