Mateo Messina – Origin
Origin is a new symphony exploring the impact of DNA research on our health and learning about our ancestry. Human beings have, and likely always have had, a curiosity about where we come from. In the past, we have relied on stories being passed on through generations. Our generation has a new opportunity to learn about who we are, where we come from, and who we were related to through science. With the surge of people learning about their health and origin through DNA services, thousands upon thousands of interesting and beautiful stories of families united, health issues overcome, and people finding a deeper understanding of themselves have come to light. Origin, the symphony, will tell these stories through music, story, and an emotional evening out at the symphony hall.
With your support, donations will directly benefit families receiving treatment & fuel the ground-breaking research at Seattle Children’s Hospital is curing pediatric cancer. This one-of-a-kind performance is presented by the LUMA Guild, performed by the Northwest Symphony Orchestra, and conducted by Anthony Spain. Don’t miss our incredible featured artist, Sleeping At Last.
