A program featuring Indiana University alumni and renowned violinists Ingrid Matthews and Rachell Ellen Wong. The program will feature a sonata for solo violin by Heinrich Biber, followed by selections from our 2018 BLEMF Festival Orchestra concert, directed by Ingrid Matthews: the “Passacaille” from George Frideric Handel’s Suite in G major, HWV 399; “Lasciate averno” from Luigi Rossi’s L’Orfeo performed by soprano Elijah McCormack; and Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto Grosso in D major, Op. 6, No. 4.
The broadcast begins at 7pm Eastern / 4pm Pacific.
