New West Symphony Battle of the Sections: Orchestra Edition

On June 25, for the first time anywhere, the New West Symphony will be hosting a “Battle of the Sections – Orchestra Edition.” This innovative online concert experience will feature orchestra sections performing music specifically arranged for this event, showcasing each section’s talent and skill, and synchronized using the latest technology.
At this very special online event, the four different sections of the New West Symphony orchestra (brass, percussion, strings and woodwinds) will perform classical music favorites that have been reimagined using just the instruments in each section. During the event, guests will enjoy these beautiful performances from their computer or television screens and then vote for their favorite section which will earn bragging rights and a special award.

The New West Symphony is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary season. It draws its players from the rich talent pool of accomplished Los Angeles-area musicians and performs under artistic direction of GRAMMY-winner Maestro Michael Christie.
