Musica Viva NY launches its 2020-2021 season with a special evening featuring the Aeolus Quartet in a digital performance setting. The program features three string quartets, two by 20th-century American composers Florence Price and Ben Johnston. The third quartet, Ludwig van Beethoven's Op. 95, celebrates the 250th anniversary of the composer's birth. Interspersed through the program are three short Bach chorales, arranged for string quartet by Aeolus, who describe them as “perfect gems – seemingly simple yet profound, they illuminate the unending magic of Bach’s harmonic genius”.

The livestream begins with a Pre-Concert Talk at 4:30pm Eastern / 1:30pm Pacific.
Concert begins 5pm Eastern / 2pm Pacific.

Digital access to this concert will be provided to ticket holders.
