New York Philharmonic principal clarinetist Anthony McGill is known for his “trademark brilliance, penetrating sound and rich character” (The New York Times). Joined by pianist Gloria Chien, Director of Music@Menlo’s Chamber Music Institute, they perform a program combining works by Brahms and Weber with Peace by Bernstein Award-winner Jessie Montgomery, whose music is “turbulent, wildly colorful and exploding with life” (The Washington Post).
