On Sunday, November 15, a unique event eight months in the making comes to life: "A New World" features three world premiere miniatures written during the COVID-19 pandemic, proving that there is still music to be made! Flutist Lindsey Goodman gives world premiere performances of new works by Tom Beal, Grant Cooper, and Matthew Kennedy.
Following each world premiere performance, watch a conversation with the composer and Lindsey for additional insight into the piece, then hear the work again following the score for a deeper understanding of the music. A project only possible through our remarkable world circumstances, this video premiere event is not to be missed!
The livestream will take place at 3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific.
A suggested "ticket price" donation of $15 will be split between The Loveland Therapy Fund and Lindsey. LTF provides financial assistance for Black women and girls nationally seeking therapy and also receives 100% of the publishing proceeds from Matthew Kennedy's Miniatures for One, Book 2.
