This concert, filmed in front of a live audience at the Menil Collection’s Cy Twombly Gallery, presents modern virtuoso Claire Chase in a program of music related to the paintings of Cy Twombly. Conversations with composer Erik Ulman and Sarah Rothenberg illuminate the painter’s abstract works and recount the composer’s unusual long-distance friendship with this towering figure.

The broadcast will take place at 7pm Central / 5pm Pacific.
