Raise your glass virtually to celebrate Mozart’s birthday! Join Town Hall and Byron Schenkman & Friends for an evening of intimate masterpieces by one of the most beloved composers of all time. Hear stirring duos for violin and piano, of Mozart’s most popular and profound pieces, Violin Sonata No. 21 in E minor, K. 304 (300c), as well as Six Variations on "Au bord d’une Fontaine", K. 360 (374b). Plus, a presentation of what is considered the first major piece composed for a piano quartet, the Quartet in G minor, K. 478 for piano and strings (violin, viola, and cello). Schenkman is joined by violinist Ingrid Matthews, one of today’s most respected baroque violinists; violist Susan Gulkis Assadi, principal viola at the Seattle Symphony; and cellist Nathan Chan, the assistant principal cello at Seattle Symphony.
