Join us for a virtual concert featuring Taiwan Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra.

Founded in 1986, the Taiwan Philharmonic, also known as the National Symphony Orchestra at home, became the resident orchestra of the National Concert Hall, and an artistic affiliate of the National Performing Arts Center, in April 2014. Since August 2010, Maestro Shao-Chia Lü has been Music Director of the Taiwan Philharmonic and will continue to lead the orchestra as it further develops and fulfills its mission as the flagship orchestra of Taiwan. The Taiwan Philharmonic has worked with numerous internationally acclaimed conductors. In addition to touring regularly throughout Taiwan, the Philharmonic has also appeared in Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sapporo, Tokyo, Yokohama, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Costa Mesa (California), and Vancouver.
