Giovanni Battista Pergolesi – "Quae maerebat et dolebat" from Stabat Mater

Throughout the past year, our Seraphim, Schola Cantorum, and Jubilate! Young Women’s Ensemble choirs have met weekly on Zoom for music education and camaraderie, led by Stacey Sunde, Director of Youth Music. Musical Prayer for May 28 is a broadcast featuring our youth singers that includes a newly produced "virtual choir" video of Lenten and Eastertide songs, some smaller musical projects, and highlights from 2020’s virtual Readings and Carols. Tune in on Vimeo or Facebook and hear what our choir kids have been up to!

We invite you to join at the St. James Cathedral, Seattle Facebook page, or at the Cathedral’s Vimeo page. If you are unable to watch live, the video will be archived for future viewing.

The premiere broadcast will take place at 6:30pm Pacific / 9:30pm Eastern.
