Franz Joseph Haydn – Symphony No. 88 in G major, Hob. I:88

With 106 symphonies to his name, Joseph Haydn is known as the “Father of the Symphony” He contributed considerably to the development of Classical symphonic form, writing most of his symphonies for the orchestra of his employer, Prince Nikolaus Esterhazy. Symphony No. 88 is one of Haydn’s best-known works.
