A composer who embellishes her work with a touch of popular writing, Errollyn Wallen has been called a “renaissance woman of contemporary British music” by The Observer. Her duo for violin and viola, Five Postcards, opens the concert. A world premiere performance by Minnesota-born composer Sky Macklay follows the Wallen, and the SPCO’s own Eunae Koh is featured as soloist on Antonio Vivaldi’s iconic Four Seasons to close out the concert.
