Grab your tackiest sweater and join Third Coast Percussion for their Office Holiday Party – an online fundraiser featuring live performances by TCP, special guests from near and far, and plenty of wintertime fun. We’ll celebrate making it through another crazy year, and raise a glass to the adventures ahead in 2022. Join us!

Our Office Holiday Party features exclusive performances, behind the scenes previews of our current collaborations, an interactive look at our education program “Think Outside the Drum”, and, of course, plenty of office shenanigans. Plus, an amazing selection of auction items! All to support TCP’s performance and educational programs, both in-person and online. The Party will last approximately 75 minutes.

We can’t wait for you to hear these three new pieces that will be revealed during the party:

-The world premiere of Matters/Mind by Alexis Lamb, written for us just this year

-A sneak peek at a new work by 2021-22 Currents Creative Partner Machado Mijiga

-And an exclusive look at a work-in-progress by Missy Mazzoli, titled Millennium Canticles — her first-ever percussion quartet, being written for us!

Plus we’ll share music from our recent GRAMMY® nominated album, Archetypes, with Sérgio and Clarice Assad!

If you’ve ever wondered what TCP does when we’re not on stage, now’s your chance to find out. Visit our office building (a converted photo album factory!), meet the neighbors, and see whose desk really is the messiest. Any guesses?

For more than 15 years, Third Coast Percussion has created exciting and unexpected performances that constantly redefine the classical music experience. The ensemble has been praised for its "commandingly elegant" (The New York Times) performances, the "rare power" (The Washington Post) of its recordings, and "an inspirational sense of fun and curiosity."
