Young People's Concert: The Atlanta Opera presents The Pirates of Penzance

This season’s Atlanta Opera Studio brings to life Gilbert and Sullivan’s most popular operettas, The Pirates of Penzance, in a special abridged version for students! Frederic, apprenticed to a band of tender-hearted pirates, leaves his pirate cohorts to find love on his 21st birthday. He falls instantly in love with Mabel, the daughter of a modern Major General. However, their love is tested with some comical twists and turns. Students will join this merry cast of characters on 45-minute adventure as romance blossoms, loyalty is put to the test, and mistakes are forgiven.
