Lowbrow Opera Collective Presents: MARThA, featuring Let's All Drink & Do Broadway

Join Lowbrow Opera Collective for our Spring Fundraiser! Hosted at the Rendezvous, this evening will be full of laughs and musical debauchery.
The feature performance will be MARThA, composition by Lingbo Ma, Libretto by John de los Santos. Written for Opera Lab at The Juilliard School, MARThA is the story of best friends, Tricia and Holly. They have known each other nearly their entire lives, but have recently been fighting incessantly. To remedy this, they download a new mobile called MARThA (Mediation and Resolution Therapy Application), which guarantees to resolve any conflict. But as their session with the all-knowing app goes on, it becomes clear that MARThA has a darker endgame in her sights than anyone who downloads her realizes.
This evening will feature our friends at Let’s All Drink and Do Broadway, a troop of fantastic performers that specializes in intoxicated renditions of your favorite Broadway tunes.
Attending online: A link to the livestream will be provided by email 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. All tickets must be purchased at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
Attending in person: Ages 21+ only.
COVID-19 Protocols: Audience members will be asked to please wear masks when not eating or drinking. Proof of vaccine OR negative COVID test within 72 hours of the performance time will be required for entry into the theater.

Let's All Drink and Do Broadway was founded in December 2016 and is a project dreamed up by Steph Sola and Carson Maguire over many tipsy karaoke nights and one incredibly inspirational Bernadette Peters concert. It combines all the things we love: musical theatre, games and laughing, and drinking with friends. The concept of the show is a hybrid of musical revue + short form improv + drinking games: the trifecta of good times. We put a spin on showtunes!!!
