Spring is a season of faith, love, and renewal as grey days give way to bright blossoms and warm afternoons, and this spring is particularly meaningful as we move forward out of the shadow of the pandemic. We celebrate both the spiritual and secular aspects of spring through a rich variety of choral works ancient and modern. William Byrd's Mass for Four Voices is a beautiful fusion of Byrd's devout Catholic faith and Renaissance polyphony, written in defiance of tremendous religious persecution. Randall Thompson’s beloved Frostiana series featuring the poetry of Robert Frost offers a variety of beautiful settings of Frost’s beloved pastoral verse. We will showcase the compositions of two talented choir members: Sunset by S. T. Joshi, and the world premiere of I thank You God for most this amazing by Brian Butz with poetry by e e cummings, and fill out the program with a lively spiritual.

Please come and help us celebrate this season of love and renewal by helping to feed those in need. For additional information, please visit www.nwchorale.org or call (206) 696-1222.

COVID-19 Protocols: Northwest Chorale respectfully asks that all audience members wear masks to help protect the health of their fellow attendees. The choir will be singing in masks.
