This December we’ll be celebrating the Solstice with Ascent. Ascent features selected works by Albert Roussel’s - Concert pour petit orchestra, Op. 34 and Mozart’s - Concerto for Clarinet, featuring NOCCO’s Concerto Competition Winner: Veronica Pavlovic.

We will also be featuring Dorothy Rudd Moore- Transcension (I have been to the Mountaintop). Transcension was dedicated to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, with strains of the Spiritual “Sometime I feel like a Motherless Child”.

We will finish off the concert with Franz Schubert - Symphony No. 5, scored for a smaller orchestra- Like NOCCO.

If ticket cost is a burden, check out NOCCO's no-questions-asked Free Ticket Program: https://www.nocco.org/free-ticket-program
