NY Phil presents the Taiwan Philharmonic. Jun Märkl, its music director, conducts the New York Premiere of Ke-Chia Chen's Ebbs and Flows, commissioned by the Taiwan Philharmonic; Bruch's Scottish Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra, featuring violinist Paul Huang (recipient of the 2015 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the 2017 Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists) as soloist; Fe. Mendelssohn's The Hebrides Overture; and Debussy's La Mer. This evening is part of the Taiwan Philharmonic’s 2022–23 season US tour.
