This concert is presented by the Friends of the Ballard Locks, as part of their Free Summer Concerts series.
The Friends of the Ballard Locks endeavors to identify, preserve, and make available records and papers, images, film, and artifacts of enduring historical value concerning the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, Carl S. English, Jr. Botanical Garden, and the Lake Washington Ship Canal. The Friends perform this mission as individual volunteers for the Seattle District of the US Army Corps of Engineers with the common bonds of a desire to document the history of these sites and serve the local community.
About HyperResonance
HyperResonance, a saxophone quartet formed in 2022, brings together four musicians with diverse backgrounds and a shared love for music. Terrell, the soprano sax player from South Carolina, exudes soulful melodies. Brooke, from Massachusetts, enchants with her alto sax. Elizabeth, originally hailing from Wisconsin, showcases her talent on the tenor sax. Jessie, a former military musician from Washington, adds a touch of grandeur on the bari sax. Together, they create an exhilarating and captivating musical experience, spreading joy to audiences of all kinds.
