The eighth annual Momenta Festival, Sept 30 – Oct 5, 2023, features concert programs curated by the members of Momenta Quartet.
October 5's program, "Szene am Bach," is play on words ("Bach" is the German word for river). Momenta Quartet violinist Alex Shiozaki created a program with music by Eugène Ysaÿe, Ileana Perez Velázquez, and Somei Satoh. Beethoven's String Quartet No. 6 in B-flat major ends the program – and the Festival – in a big way.
Admission is free, and donations to Music for Food to benefit the Broadway Community are encouraged.
