This performance features PNB School students in Levels I-IV, and DanceChance. Also on the program is a special presentation of PNB's newly designed Garland Dance from next season's re-imagined The Sleeping Beauty, and Professional Division students will perform in James Kirby Rogers' new work, and George Balanchine's Square Dance. Music for Square Dance and The Sleeping Beauty will be played by Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Juan Felipe Molano.

About Juan Felipe Molano, conductor
Juan Felipe Molano brings 20 years of vibrant teaching and performing experience to the position of SYSO Music Director. His career includes conducting positions with top professional and youth orchestras throughout Europe, the United States, Asia, South, and Central America. Since 2014, he has served as Conductor of Youth Orchestra Los Angeles (YOLA), a program of the Los Angeles Philharmonic that puts the transformative power of music-making into the hands of young people who would not otherwise have access to it.
