Carolyn Tanksley
Carolyn Tanksley began playing harp at age eight under the tutelage of Frances Gilman Miller, with whom she continued her studies at St. Olaf College. Ms. Tanksley played with many orchestral, ensemble, and choral groups as a youth and won various harp competitions at the state and national level. Locally, Ms. Tanksley has studied with Pamela Vokolek, former professor at University of Washington School of Music. Ms. Tanksley rounds out her days enjoying travel, tennis, skiing, and biking adventures with her husband, Michael, who plays violin with the Eastside Symphony.
