Esther Lee (VA) – Past Concerts
Sterling, Virgina-based pianist Esther Lee is a dedicated teacher with a deep passion for nurturing musical talent in students of all ages.
In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Music specializing in piano performance, she has more than 20 years of piano teaching experience with children of all ages in Fairfax and Loudoun County.
Esther firmly believes that mastering a musical instrument transcends mere technical proficiency. It's about unlocking the ability to convey emotions and tell the stories woven into each piece of music. Her mission is to equip every student with the essential skills and a profound understanding of music, enabling them to perform joyfully and captivate their audiences.
She believes in having a supportive atmosphere with honest feedback is something that encourages students to eventually learn to create musical expression independently. This will allow them to become lifelong musicians who can continue to learn and develop as performers. Her goal is to encourage students to love music as much as she does.
Beyond her role as an educator, Esther Lee is an accomplished professional accompanist, lending her talent to students participating in solo and ensemble festivals, school choirs, and church choirs.
