Snehesh Nag

Snehesh is a musician and researcher currently based in Baltimore, USA. He is a practitioner of North Indian classical music on the sitar and has primarily been a disciple of his father, Pt. Sugato Nag, but has also been under the tutelage of Pt. Buddhadev Dasgupta, Pt. Prattyush Banerjee, and Shri Pranab Naha. In addition to the style of the Senia Shahjahanpore gharana, he infuses the Imdadakhani gharana style into his playing. He is known to blend a lot of "emotion, surprise elements, and aesthetic touches" in his playing. He is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades, and has toured the India, US, and Canada extensively.
