Berlin Philharmonic – Past Concerts

Sir Simon Rattle leads the Berliner Philharmoniker in Jean Sibelius’s Symphonies Nos. 6 & 7, in this 2015 film recorded at London’s Barbican Hall.

Susanna Mälkki, an expert on Kaija Saariaho’s music, conducts the German premiere of the acclaimed composer's Vista, as well as Béla Bartók's haunting one-act opera Bluebeard’s Castle.

The main item of the programme is the Finale of Mahler’s Sixth Symphony, conducted by Kirill Petrenko. More will not be revealed – it’s a surprise!
